A selection committee of the Search for the Country’s Outstanding Policemen in Service (COPS) has chosen 20 finalists to advance to the panel interview and final judging on May 18 and 20, 2011. The selection committee screened more than 60 nominations nationwide. It was composed of representatives from various sectors such as the Free Legal Assistance Group, Commission on Human Rights, Institute of Human Rights, National Police Commission and Rotary Club District 3780. Representatives from program partners Philippine National Police and Rotary Club of New Manila East were also part of the committee. |
