 The finalists, who underwent rigorous screening process, consisted of eight non-commissioned officers and twelve commissioned officers. a maximum of ten will be named as this year’s COPS awardees who will receive their awards in Malacañang this June. (maybe it’s the other way around maam? 8 PCOs and 12 PNCOs…)

 PO2 Salaya is my ideal policewoman… she is a community oriented police officer who upholds the rule of law, a model citizen/individual and a person who is well-respected by us and the community of Maasin… PO2 Salaya as our Police Community Relation PNCO, this station was awarded as the Most Citizen Friendly Police Station in Western Visayas….

 My ideal police officer is no other than PO2 Rina Salaya…. She is a responsible mother of her kids…. A responsible police officer who assigned in multiple designations… an amiable person to everybody… I know her personally as a well-dignified individual who help the community (especially old folks and young children) with sincerity and dedication…

 I am a native of Maasin, Iloilo… for me an ideal police officer is a person who is willing to help the community without any uncertainty and hesitation, a role model and well-respected by the community… for me, she is Police Officer Rina Salaya… she is not a native of Maasin, Iloilo but I know her because of what she is doing for the betterment of the community

 We strongly support PO2 Salaya to all her endeavors for the betterment and peace and order of Maasin, Iloilo….. she is a loving mother of her kids and an eloquent individual… she is very approachable and helpful to all the people who seek help…

 My ideal police office ris the one who loves his/her work without knowing whatever the consequences in every decisions he/she make, one who can adopt every environment in the community, know how to mingle to the people and can adjust, one who family oriented individual and most important fear has in God. I choose PO2 Rina D. Salaya, she already done it before, and I know she can do better today!

In reply to the post: “What awaits our 2011 COPS Awardees> aside from the lined-up activities, they will each receive a trophy and cash prize from Metrobank Foundation + a Medalya ng Katangitanging Gawa from PNP. Oh, and the cash prize is P300,000; P25,000 of which will go to the winner’s unit of assignment in the form of equipment/ training / renovation
