     This may well be the most forgotten principle in the world - the fact that motivation is everything to success.  And who could be more motivated to prevent crime than police? If preventing crime means that children must be educated away from it, who better to lead that charge than police who see it daily? The fact that nations have not used the valuable resources of the police for anything but public safety or detail work is nearly criminal in itself. Children, teachers, and police themselves would benefit from such a revision of attitude, to create momentum to the progress claimed to be made from effectively utilizing natural motivation. Most police have long had latent tendencies of desire as directors, analysts, and judges anyway. Why not put it to good use?
