PSBank has renewed its support for the 2010 Metrobank Foundation Search for the Country’s Outstanding Policemen in Service (COPS) by signing a memorandum of agreement with the Metrobank Foundation, Inc., the Rotary Club of New Manila East, and the Philippine National Police (PNP).

A policeman or woman who has been in the service for at least seven years, of good moral character, and with no pending administrative or criminal case, can be nominated by his or her direct supervisor, the PNP regional director, city or municipal mayor, provincial governor, Rotary Club, and non-government or church organizations. 

A maximum of four Commissioned Officers and six non-Commissioned Officers can win in the search. Aside from the honor of being one of the country’s most respected police officers, each of the winners will also receive P250,000 and a trophy. 

Nomination forms are also available at PSBank’s 170 branches nationwide. It can also be downloaded from the COPS website (www.cops.com.ph) which features the big and small inspirational stories of policemen and women that go unnoticed.  

Those who wish to join the search or nominate an exemplary policeman or woman from their community may also get nomination forms from any Metrobank branch, participating Rotary clubs, PNP regional commands and local police stations nationwide. Forms can also be downloaded at www.pnp.gov.ph

Accomplished nomination forms should be submitted to the nearest PSBank or Metrobank branch; the Metrobank Foundation Office, 15/F Metrobank Plaza, Sen. Gil Puyat Avenue, Makati City; or at the Directorate for Police Community Relations, PNP General Headquarters, Camp Crame, Quezon City, on or before January 8, 2010.
