Among all his contributions to service, PO3 Castillon considers his accomplishments on environmental protection as the ones that would best describe his career as a police officer.

These include combating illegal fishing at the Coastal Environment Program Project Site in Semirara Island.

As the Police Environmental Desk Officer at Tobias Fornier Police Station and as a member of Bantay Dagat, a municipal task force against illegal fishing, he was part of the team that conducted sea borne operation to apprehend illegal fishing and regularly patrol the municipal fish sanctuary from poachers. 

A police officer who believes that gaining the trust of the community is important in delivering public safety services, PO3 Castillon likewise conducted a workshop on the formulation of Integrated Area / Community Public Safety Plan to the barangays in Tobias Fornier.

This workshop, which gathered barangay tanods, barangay officials, sangguniang kabataan and lupon tagapamayapa, aimed to set plans on the peace and order of their respective barangays.
