Sangrines Chief, Complaints and Investigation Section / Anti-Human Trafficking Desk PNCO Regional Women and Children Protection Desk Camp Martin Delgado, Iloilo City Currently assigned in the Regional Women and Children Protection Desk, PO3 Sangrines’ accomplishments in crime solution primary deal with arrest of rapists and violators of children’s and women’s rights. Out of the 18 cases filed and investigated, 15 were successfully elevated to court and suspects were issued with corresponding warrants of arrest.
With the help of the community, three of these suspects were arrested. Motivated by her concern for indigenous people, PO3 Sangrines conducted visitations and pulong-pulong for the local tribes in Brgy. Matag-ub, Janiuay and educated them on laws pertaining to protection of women and children. To address the increasing number of domestic violence cases in Iloilo, she took part in the Babaye Bangon project of the Regional Women and Children Protection Desk. Through this project, lectures on women protection were conducted to barangay officials throughout the region. |
