2. Police Superintendent Florencio T. Ortilla Acting Chief, Regional Operations DivisionPolice Regional Office 11 Davao City PSupt. Ortilla has proven his excellence in performing his duties through the several achievements the he has accomplished. These include the resolution of a murder with rape case in Bacoor, Cavite within 24 hours, which earned him a Medalya ng Kasanayan. This quick response was made possible with the help of the community members who gave information which led to the arrest of the suspects.
PSupt. Ortilla also lists the capture of Arnel Sacdalan, the sixth most wanted in Calabarzon and the most notorious illegal drug pusher in Cavite province, in his accomplishments. Believing in the importance of gaining the trust of the community not only his place of assignment but also in his area of residence, PSupt. Ortilla has been conducting Grand Ugnayan and Pulong-pulong Program which aim to gain the community’s support and assistance in crime prevention programs. Moreover, he also organized almost 1,500 barangay peace keepers and civilian volunteers into Barangay Crime Watch, which involved trainings, seminars and community dialogues, to maintain peace and order in Bacoor, Cavite. |
