As a priest, PSupt. Ponsaran considers himself as a “shepherd” who guides the members of his community towards peace. Many of his accomplishments deal with conflict resolution in his area of assignment.

These include holding a dialogue between the elders of Teduray Tribe in Brgy. Making, Parang, Maguindanao to end the conflict, which involved land grabbing and family feuds, between Christian and Muslim communities.

He likewise contributed to the resolution of the rido or clan feud between two families in Maguindanao which caused a number of killings for years.

PSupt. Villaflor considers himself as a “transformational leader” who sets an example for others to follow and who acknowledges the dysfunctions of the PNP such that the exposure of these can lead to the implementation of strategic interventions to correct the system.

Among his accomplishments include the conceptualization of an intelligence operation plan which led to the arrest of the suspects of the murder of the mayor and vice mayor of Lupao, Nueva Ecija in 2007.

PO3 Euraoba’s significant contributions in service include the arrest of murderers, terrorists, drug pushers.

Most of them were arrested because of PO3 Euraoba’s persistence in gaining the trust and confidence of the people in community where the suspects reside.

A police officer who believes that the people’s participation in crime prevention is important for the police to be effective in performing their duties, he encourages the residents of his community to engage in crime prevention and solution through his radio program Dumaguete Tonight, Saturday Edition: Police Hour and through his TV program Pulis sa Katilingban.

6. Police Officer 3 Shella Mae A. Sangrines

Currently assigned in the Regional Women and Children Protection Desk, PO3 Sangrines’ accomplishments in crime solution primary deal with arrest of rapists and violators of children’s and women’s rights.

Out of the 18 cases filed and investigated, 15 were successfully elevated to court and suspects were issued with corresponding warrants of arrest. 

7. Police Officer 3 Zoraida M. Aripin

As a police officer assigned to Women and Children Desk, the achievements of PO3 Aripin deal with the arrest of several rapists in her area of assignment, a number of them were arrested with the help of the community members and barangay tanod.

PO3 Aripin’s most memorable experience as a police officer was when she was able to rescue, with the help of a social worker, a thirteen-year-old girl from a man of legal age who was about to marry the young girl. 

8. Police Officer 3 Joey V. Castillon

Among all his contributions to service, PO3 Castillon considers his accomplishments on environmental protection as the ones that would best describe his career as a police officer.

These include combating illegal fishing at the Coastal Environment Program Project Site in Semirara Island.

As the Police Environmental Desk Officer at Tobias Fornier Police Station and as a member of Bantay Dagat, a municipal task force against illegal fishing, he was part of the team that conducted sea borne operation to apprehend illegal fishing and regularly patrol the municipal fish sanctuary from poachers. 

9. Senior Police Officer 2 Hermie S. Raymundo

One of SPO2 Raymundo’s greatest achievements in service is the voluntary surrender of Teodorico Manzano, team leader of the Rebolusyonaryong Hukbong Bayan (RHB) and seven other members of the group.

He also conducted a special investigation for the filing of a murder case against Monteson Ignacio, Jr., PNP’s most wanted person in the country and the leader of the Pogito Group which was engaged in robbery hold-ups, gun for hire and other illegal activities. 

10. Police Officer 3 Roel P. Paclibar

Tacurong City, Sultan Kudarat

Truly an outstanding policeman, PO3 Paclibar has received recognitions for his excellence in service.

These include a Medalya ng Kagalingan for his team’s heroic encounter with two armed carnappers which resulted to a firefight that killed one of the suspects and wounded the other one; and a Medalya ng Kasanayan for his team’s hot pursuit police operation against three armed hold uppers, which resulted to the arrest of one of the suspects.
