Being the chief of the local police in his own hometown gives P/Supt Cruz an extra dose of inspiration to exert every effort to make Cabanatuan City one of the safest places on earth. His wide-ranging initiatives have all been effective in sending out the message that lawless elements do not have a place to stay and prosper in his area of responsibility – a message that at least four criminal gangs operating in and out of Cabanatuan City have found out the hard way.

Career Highlights: Led various operations that dismantled major drug syndicates, many of which had international connections. Multi-billion worth of illegal drugs, drug equipment and various chemicals and paraphernalia were seized during these operations.

Personal Data: A native of Lucena City in Quezon Province, married with two children

Whether be it in Metro Manila, Cebu or Davao, P/Supt Carlos has proven to be the bane of drug traffickers operating in many parts of the country. A review of the PNP’s most successful campaigns against illegal drugs would inevitably turn up his name – and a sterling professional record that includes the dismantling of the Antipolo City Shabu Mega-Factory in 2003 and other major drug laboratories in Metro Manila, Mandaue City in Cebu and Davao City in Mindanao.

It is a long way from airplanes and raining bombs on enemy positions from the sky, but SPO1 Callo is indeed flying high – from his achievements as a dedicated and talented police officer on the ground.

Career Highlights: Participated in the dismantling of a shabu laboratory in what is considered as the biggest drug raid in Mindanao in recent years, which also resulted in the confiscation of million of drugs and drug-making equipment and araphernalia, and the arrest of foreign nationals involved in the illegal drug trade
Education: Masters in College Teaching, Major in Law Enforcemen
Personal Data: A native of Davao del Sur, married with one child

While the problem on illegal drugs remains a top priority of the country’s law enforcement agencies, considerable progress has been achieved in containing the threat of widespread manufacture and distribution, thanks to the efforts of police agents like SPO4 Carillo.

Career Highlights: Helped put drug pushers, serial rapists and child molesters behind bars, institutionalized community-level intervention for children through barangay councils

Personal Data: Single and a native of Batangas City

PO3 Cueto finds no difficulty in dividing her time between rapists and drug dealers, pursuing these criminals with equal passion and talent.

In her relatively short career as a police officer, her competence and dedication have proven invaluable not just in making our communities safer and more secure from these felons, but in helping victims of sexual crimes deal with their ordeal through the pursuit of justice.

Police officers are asked to prepare to lay down their lives in the performance of their duties, and many are actually called to make the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty. Some are lucky to have survived the hazards of the profession, like SPO2 Nazareno, to live on and fight criminals and communist insurgents another day.

It is hard enough to go after hardened criminals and organized crime syndicates, but it is doubly difficult to pursue colleagues in uniform who are accused of perpetrating crimes against the public they are supposed to serve.

Cases of violence against women and children are often the most difficult to handle, professionally or personally, and it takes a special breed of law enforcers to look after the welfare of battered or abused women and children.

In addition to his regular police work against drugs and criminality, P/Supt Noble has expanded his priorities to include other issues that fundamentally affect the safety and security of communities within his area of responsibility.

Career Highlights : Led operations that resulted to the neutralization of known kidnap-for-ransom and robbery-hold up groups operating in Mindanao, the arrest of notorious criminals and the rescue of kidnap victims

Education : Masters in Public Administration, Bachelor of Laws

Personal Data : Originally from San Carlos City in Negros Occidental, married with three children

Name any of the more active kidnap-for-ransom or robbery-hold up groups that used to operate with impunity in Mindanao and chances are, PCI Delvo has had a hand in their neutralization. In the course of his extremely dangerous yet very productive stint with the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Task Force (PAOCTF)-Mindanao Area, he dealt with notoriously famous bands of brigands such as the Babacua and Fajardo kidnap gangs and the Posadas and Chigo robbery groups on a day-to-day basis.
