PO3 Ferriol found his calling in investigative work, an expertise he has put to good use in the course of his duties as law enforcement personnel. His impressive list of accomplishments includes not just final resolution of cold cases, but conclusive closure on major criminal incidents that required multi-agency coordination. In the investigation of the controversial killing of the late Masbate Mayor Moises Espinosa, PO3 Ferriol impressed even his counterparts from the National Bureau of Investigationand the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group of the PNP. His uncompromising approach to crime solution and investigative work also helped close the case involving the sensational murder of a media practitioner, as well as other cases ranging from theft to robbery and hold ups to illegal drugs and firearms. The best tribute to his close ad productive partnership with the community is perhaps ultimately captured in the award he received from the local government in 2006, which honored him as the Most Outstanding MasbateƱo in the Field of Law Enforcement. From the conduct of nightly patrols to sponsorship of basketball tournaments, PO3 Ferriol continues to initiate effective strategies to nurture and enhance the role of different stakeholders in the community and make them viable partners in law enforcement. |
