SPO2 Andamon’s current assignment with the Police Community Relations Section of the Sto. Tomas Police Station gives him the opportunity to become not just an effective police officer, but a valuable spokesman and community liaison officer of the PNP as well.
A 15-year veteran, SPO2 Andamon was involved in a number of successful operations in the province that resulted in the reduction of criminal incidents and the apprehension of lawless elements. Among his significant accomplishments are in the area of counter-insurgency operations, such as Oplan Black Pearl in 2001 and Oplan Ultimax last year, with the latter leading to the surrender of an armed regular of the CPP-NPA. SPO2 Andamon likewise figured in the campaign against illegal drugs in the locality as well as check the proliferation of loose firearms.

Senior Police Officer 1 Mapandan Police Station, Mapandan, Pangasinan
After a year in the Philippine Military Academy, SPO1 Antolin shifted gears and joined the now-defunct Philippine Constabulary, undergoing Basic Recruit Training in Magalang, Pampanga. Fifteen years and a handful of awards, medals and commendations later, the decision proved to be well advised as he was named the Best Junior Police Non-Commissioned officer, national level, in the year 2001.
Currently detailed with the Operations Section of the Mapandan Police Station as Senior Intelligence Operative as well as Administrative PNCO, SPO1 Antolin was in the forefront of organizing Barangay Intelligence Networks and other liaison projects to solicit the assistance and involvement of members of the community in the promotion and conduct of peace and order initiatives.

Once hailed as the youngest and most bemedalled chief of police that the city of Dumaguete has ever had, P/Supt. Lawas took just fifteen relatively short years to achieve his current rank and status in the PNP.
As a proof of his exemplary career, he has amassed at least 26 medals and numerous awards, badges and commendation letters from various government units and private sector organizations as well as from public officials. During his stint as chief of police of Dumaguete City, his accomplishments include the immediate solution of incidents of armed robberies and other forms of criminality.

A PMA cadet for three years, SPO$ Macatlang became an Intelligence Operative of the Criminal Investigation and Security Command in 1988. During the course of the next 14 years, he has received a total of 22 medals and 38 commendation letters from the PNP alone, including the Dangal ng PNP Award, jointly conferred by the Civil Service Commission, the PNP Outstanding Achievement Medal, three Special Service Medals, and the PNP Heroism Medal, among others.

Station Commander Balintawak PNP Assistance Center, Police Station 1, Central Police District Honored as the Police Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year during the 12th anniversary of the Central Police District last October 2002, SPO4 Medina truly exemplifies the best of PNP. A veteran police officer with a 30-year service record, P/Supt. Molto rose from the ranks; earning promotions along the way that made him police commissioned officer in 1985.
Under his leadership, the Daraga Police Station was adjudged as the Best Municipal Police Station last year in the entire Bicol Region because of its outstanding accomplishments in various fields of police work, particularly in crime solution and police-community relations. Among the projects he initiated was the “Walk and Talk Patrolling Concept”, which was instrumental in the high crime solution rate in the municipality, as indicated by the neutralization of eight organized criminal gangs and the apprehension of at least ten most wanted persons in the locality.

After 11 years in the military, four of them as a cadet in the Philippine Military Academy, P/Supt. Taliño found himself in the police force as a Senior Inspector in 1991. Since then, his star in the PNP has continued to shine, as evidenced by the numerous badges, citations, and commendation letters that he has received, including no less than 30 medals and other awards.
As Chief of Police of the Dagupan City Police Station, his inspired leadership garnered for the station the honor of being named as The Best City Police Station for the year 2001 in the entire Rehion 3. Included in his list of meritorious accomplishments is the neutralization of the dreaded “Bagis Gang”, which operated in Pangasinan and nearby provinces as a robbery/holdup criminal group. He also led a series of successful operations against and international drug syndicate that was using the Philippines as a transshipment point to smuggle heroin to the United States and Europe.
